Doris & fred

after seeing these prints on the print & pattern blog, they reminded me of the flowers that I have been working from throughout my current project. They look quite similar in my opinion.

Jewelera

Here is a little bit of information from the designers etsy page.

"I'm originally from the beautiful city of Istanbul/Turkey.

I've created all my life, I never want to stop doing that, no matter what medium it is. Jewelry designing has been my creative outlet for the last 10 years. I'm strongly passionate about it, as I'm also passionate about dreaming, doodling, thinking about random things in life, being curious, people, reading, writing, photographing, nature, loving, not sleeping (insomnia yes!).

I believe I add a lot from myself to my designs when I'm creating, so they kind of mirror little parts of my life, culture, or emotions, and what I observe visually.. That's why every piece I create is very special to me."

Neckpiece progression

Here are a couple of pictures of my neckpiece progression. The flowers are made with plain cotton, the colour has been added using the heat press. I have used a range of lilac/purple shades which I think gives my neckpiece a delicate feel.

Fabric fish

Blue/white random scales Red/white random scalesrandom pink
These fabric fish are so cute. They would have been great market research for my file for my last module when I was creating my own fabric fish.

These decorative hanging fish look great in a seaside themed room , kids room or bathroom.
Made in cotton with individual scales and button eyes there are loads of colour options so there's sure to be one to suit.
Fish are hung on jute twine and come perfumed with your choice of fragrance from the following - apple, strawberry, cherry, peach, lemon, dewberry, lavender, vanilla, rose, sweet pea, honeysuckle, cinnamon spice, mint, patchouli, sandalwood, jasmine, coconut, chocolate or violet.

I find these surface patterns by Rachel Taylor really inspiring. I like the way she has layered up the prints, it creates a great effect and feel of depth.

Pop art style

http://www.made.com/homeware/cushions/animalia-scatter-cushion-50-x-50cm-pug-print

I love the pop art style of this cushion and as you can see from the picture it stands out really well on a plain sofa. Great focal point and a really interesting piece.

Double Pop

Use this cute companion cushion to liven up your look. The repeat print pop art style keeps it playful and adds a fun dose of colour pop. Featuring a bespoke woven pattern for a unique edge.

Scatter cushions

Designed by Ali Miller

Revisiting objects and images from her childhood and visually reinventing them, Ali's work tells a story through intricate patterns and bold, vibrant colours.

In this whimsical scatter cushion, designer Ali Miller merges ideas and colours - creating a playful design that tells a story.

Ali's designs are physically cut then digitally reworked, and printed on quality twill cotton.

Decker Collection

Here are a few more products that i like that are from the same collection as the cushion in my previous post.
Lots of bright colours and iconic prints.

Repeat Patterns

I like the use of repeat pattern on this cushion. This product is a great way to add a splash of colour to a room. I like the British theme the cushion has been given by using an iconic double Decker bus silhouette.
